Barn House Garden

10th August 2016

Gasps of oh my and wow greeted our latest garden visit. Barn House Garden was unlike any garden we have visited before. A style unique for the area.

The acre garden is located on a secluded hillside above the beautiful Wye Valley and surrounded by meadows and woodland.  The garden is south facing and catches the valley winds which makes it ideal for growing ornamental grasses. Many varieties of grasses, and clever planting combinations, with plenty of interesting nooks and crannies to explore. A warm welcome with tea and cake made this garden open with the NGS a truly enjoyable visit
