Ruspidge...

...is a village on the edge of Cinderford in the Forest of Dean, Gloucestershire. Set in a valley, wooded on one side and residential on the other.

Ruspidge Gardening Club...

...was formed in August 2009, after one very brave lady put up a poster on the hall noticeboard, asking if any like minded gardeners would want to attend a meeting to form a local gardening club.

All went well on the evening when around twenty keen potential members turned up to introduce themselves to each other.  As the interest was clear, so Ruspidge Gardening Club was born.

Since then...

The club continues to thrive, and has a dedicated core of members who form the committee. A regular group of members, of all ages, meet up to enjoy monthly meetings, garden visits, social evenings, raffles, seed swaps, plant sales, homemade cakes and much more!

Welcome

The club is always keen to welcome new members, and gardeners of all ages and abilities are warmly invited to come along and join us.

We also found that we have a number willing junior members, when we held a children's seed sowing morning. We are particularly pleased to encourage our young gardeners of the future.
